What is FIRE?

FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early) is a financial lifestyle and philosophy focused on achieving financial freedom at a younger age through a combination of aggressive saving, smart investing, and mindful spending. The goal is to accumulate enough wealth to support one’s living expenses without relying on traditional employment, allowing for early retirement or a shift to more fulfilling pursuits.

FIRE Funds™ Wealth Builder ETF (Ticker: FIRS) and FIRE Funds™ Income Target ETF (Ticker: FIRI) are two complementary funds designed to support these goals. FIRS aims to diversify across four ETF baskets, targeting different market cycles—Prosperity, Recession, Inflation, and Deflation—to navigate economic fluctuations. FIRI is an actively-managed fund seeking current income with a target 4% annual income level. Both funds are structured as ETFs, seeking to offer liquidity, transparency, and tax efficiency to support a flexible approach for FIRE investors.

With a deep understanding of the principles behind the FIRE movement, Michael brings 20 years of experience in building efficient, income-generating portfolios designed to support long-term financial freedom. Dan, known as the ETF Professor, brings 25 years experience to FIRE Funds and is committed to providing investors with the tools and strategies needed to support their financial goals and retire on their terms.

Shares of the ETF may be bought or sold throughout the day at their market price on the exchange on which they are listed. Inflation Risk: Inflation risk is the risk that the value of assets or income from investments will be less in the future as inflation decreases the value of money. As inflation increases, the present value of the Fund’s assets and distributions, if any, may decline.

Market Risk: The market value of the portfolio’s holdings rise and fall from day to day, so investments may lose value.

New Fund Risk: The Fund is a recently organized management investment company with no operating history. As a result, prospective investors do not have a track record or history on which to base their investment decisions.

Non-Diversification Risk: As a non-diversified fund, the Fund may invest a larger portion of its assets in the securities of one or a few issuers than a diversified fund. A non-diversified fund’s investment in fewer issuers may result in the fund’s shares being more sensitive to the economic results of those issuers. An investment in the Fund could fluctuate in value more than an investment in a diversified fund.
